Our Rapid Response Fund allows us to respond within hours of a disaster, mobilising support wherever and whenever it is most needed. It allows us to reach children immediately, protecting their survival and wellbeing.
It also allows us to respond to the numerous ongoing crises which don't garner the attention of the world media.

In the morning of 26 August, an unimaginable flash flood ripped through Central Nepal - like a tsunami, washing away entire villages, homes, roads and schools. Many of the worst hit areas are places Street Child knows like the back of our hand.
As in any disaster like this, children are among the most vulnerable: torn from their homes and classrooms, and at heightened risk amid the chaos and displacement that follows.
Right now, our teams are mobilising to stand again with these communities.
In North and South Kivu, armed groups have taken control of major cities, including Goma and Bukavu. The consequences are devastating for children and their families whose lives have been uprooted entirely.
Street Child’s team and local partners are on the ground in Goma and nearby Burundi, providing urgent support but we need your help.
On December 15th, Cyclone Chido struck northern Mozambique, leaving 90,000 children at risk and devastating communities already displaced by conflict. Mecufi, a key district where Street Child operates, has been hardest hit—entire villages were levelled, leaving families without homes, schools, or basic necessities.
Children and their families are caught in the middle of intense conflict in Gaza. The crisis is having grave humanitarian consequences, more than a million children are affected by extreme lack of food, water and medicine and are in need of mental health and psychosocial support.
