Ade Adepitan

Ade has been a prominent voice for Street Child, notably hosting our gala dinner in November 2024 and representing Street Child in Parliament, advocating for policies that support global education initiatives. His consistent media outreach and public advocacy have been instrumental in raising awareness and driving engagement for Street Child. 

Chris Kamara

Former English professional football player, pundit, and manager Chris Kamara has shown support for our work, particularly in Sierra Leone, where his father was born. Chris participated in commemorating fifteen years of Street Child at our photography exhibition, F I F T E E N, showcasing photographs taken by fifteen-year-olds around the world. He is dedicated to ensuring global access to education and has contributed to amplifying our campaigns on social media.

Nick Hewer

Known for his role as an advisor on "The Apprentice" and as a television personality, Nick Hewer is a Patron of Street Child and has been involved with the charity for several years. He is a regular attendee at Street Child fundraising events, is often interviewed by the media in connection to our work and has visited our programmes in Sierra Leone. In addition to this, Nick often promotes our campaigns on social media.  

Penny Lancaster

Model and television personality Penny Lancaster has been instrumental in raising awareness for Street Child in HELLO magazine, highlighting several emergency campaigns and events, including our rapid response to the Turkey-Syria earthquake, playing a crucial role in highlighting the need and rallying further support. Penny has also utilised her social media platform to encourage donations to our recent UK aid match appeal, ending January 2024, and has attended various Street Child events.  

AJ Odudu

Strictly Star and TV Presenter AJ Odudu remains dedicated to raising awareness and funds for Street Child across multiple platforms. She has participated in fundraising activities, attended charity galas, and notably used her musical knowledge to secure crucial funding for Street Child on BBC 1's The Hit List.  

Dame Helen Mirren

Oscar-winning actress Dame Helen Mirren supported Street Child’s Christmas campaign in 2023 with an interview which featured on the front page of The Saturday Times, highlighting the vital role education plays in the lives of girls around the world and reinforcing the importance of Street Child’s work publicly.  

Sampha

British award-winning musician Sampha has been a key supporter of Street Child's most recent Christmas campaign. Leveraging his mass online presence and drawing on his Sierra Leonean heritage, Sampha has played a pivotal role in amplifying the campaign's reach and impact, raising critical awareness and support for Street Child.  

Michael & Hilary Whitehall

Comedy duo Michael and Hilary Whitehall have been supporters of Street Child for several years, attending fundraising events and raising awareness of the charity’s work across several platforms. They generously contribute auction prizes which have ranged from tickets to a Jack Whitehall gig to jars of Hilary’s famous jam. 

Sir Rod Stewart

Music icon Sir Rod Stewart lent his support attending the celebration of fifteen years of Street Child at the launch of the photography exhibition, F I F T E E N; through the lens of the next generation, showcasing photographs captured by fifteen-year-olds from around the world. Furthermore, Sir Rod has assisted in amplifying our campaigns on his social media, aiding in sharing our message far and wide.

Richard Riakporhe

British-Nigerian boxing star Richard Riakporhe serves as a Street Child Ambassador. Having visited Street Child’s programmes in Maiduguri, Nigeria, Richard continues to work to increase awareness of the ongoing conflict in the country and to highlight the charity’s impact on children’s lives in Nigeria.

Will Greenwood

Former professional rugby player Will Greenwood has shown support for Street Child by undertaking challenges such as The Annual Big Ride and the Sierra Leone Cycle Challenge. Will played a pivotal role in launching our Christmas campaign with The Times and Sunday Times, stating, “Talent is distributed equally but opportunity isn’t. I have always thought that it is everybody’s responsibility to create more opportunities.”

Lord Dannatt

Former Chief of General Staff and professional head of the army, Lord Dannatt, has been a supporter of Street Child since its inception. He regularly attends our fundraising events and utilises his profile to raise awareness for Street Child in the media.

Rachel Riley

Countdown presenter Rachel Riley continues to support Street Child through fundraising and engagement in awareness-raising campaigns. She recently auctioned off a stunning Ukrainian flag-themed dress to raise money for Street Child’s emergency response in Ukraine.
